Sparky was my guide. I thought he moved a little too often and we did not catch as many fish as I had in the past and was a little disappointed. 15 minutes late cost us getting in a good spot early in the morning. Everything else was good, fished the Saturday before father's day.

Hi Guys!! I just wanted to let you all know that I had a really good time on Saturday! It was my first time on Lake Texoma, not to mention, the first time Striper fishing. I know it was kind of slim pickins' Saturday morning, as far as catching our limit of Striper, but we all had a really fun time. I'm e-mailing you guys to find out when the digital picture will be on your website, of the fish we caught on June 19th. I, Kelsey Andrews, was in the group with Connie Kelly, Phyllis Strickland, and Teri Fitzgerald, on the sheet we filled out for the free trip, Lin & Debbie Ballard and Charlie & Pam Yeager were included. Their guide was Greg and our guide was Roger. If you get some time, please let me know when the picture will be on the website, and if it's not posted, would you mind e-mailing it to me? Thanks to all and especially Roger. Another trip and another great time. As usual Tinker's Guide Service provided a great Striper Fishing Trip. Out guide, Roger Hill, was outstanding. Five of us went fishing and we all caught our limit. Roger really displayed his skill as a guide, distinguishing the stripers that were ready to feed versus those that were just hanging out. We spotted many schools of fish but Roger would tell us these aren't the ones that are going to bite and he would continue looking until he came across those fish displaying the characteristics he was looking for. He was right on the money. We had a great time and caught some great fish.

Tinker, Just wanted your future customers to know what a great time my wife and I had fishing with John last Friday. The Stripers were all but "jumping in the boat". We released numerous fish over 20" and easily caught our limit. A fishing experience we will remember for a long time. We will definitely be back .

Hello Brenda, We noticed our fishing picture was already posted on the tinker website. I want to extend a very special thank you to you and Matt (guide) for helping me and my three boys create a life time of memories. "I personally look forward to the day I can share stories about "Steamer Island" and how we caught all those fish - - even the two or three blue catfish with their children." Everything you guy's [Tinker's] did was top notch and I highly recommend Matt to anyone out there looking to have a "real pro" with a lot of patience & know-how take you striper fishing. I especially recommend Matt to anyone wanting to take their kid's fishing! We caught our daily limit (40 striper's or 10 a piece) and Matt stayed the course with my three boy's who were fishing for the very first time. Brenda, you made us feel at home from the minute I called you from Houston to make the reservations on through to when you took the pictures at the end of the day and prepared Justin's (15 year old) 12 plus lbs fish to be professionally mounted! We'll be coming back to Lake Texoma to do it again and we'll be back in the boat with Tinker's!

I meant to get this e-mail out sooner but have not had time. I would like to thank Tinkers for the trip we had back on the 5th, 6th, and 7th of this month. The first two days were rough with the weather and some mechanical problems but our guide, Roger Hill, was up before dawn catching bait and knocking ice off the boat so we could have a good trip. He, and his wife, definitely went above and beyond to give us our moneys worth. This is two years in a row we have fished with Roger and plan to continue making it an annual event. Last year there were three of us, this year it grew to seven. With the pictures of stripers, 76 pound catfish and good reports of excellent guide service the group we bring back is sure to keep growing. Again, thanks to all and tell Roger and Gina we look forward to seeing them again. Maybe sooner than next year.
