Fishing Report
 

November 18, 2004.  Water pool level is 618.13.  The normal annual pool level is 617 feet.  Water temperature is 64 degrees.  Water clarity is clear to two feet on the main body of the lake and muddy on the north and west ends.  The generating schedule is 4:00 pm till 11:00 pm.  Sunrise was 7:01 am and sunset will be 5:21 pm.  There are 10 hours and 20 minutes of visible light during the day.  The moon will be full on November 26th.  The temperature was 50 degrees at 7:00 am.  The high for yesterday was 61 degrees.  Texoma’s forecast for Friday thru Saturday is for lows in the 50s and highs in the 60s with a 5 to 15 mph ENE wind on Saturday.  There is a slight chance of showers thru early morning Sunday.  The water temperature has dropped five degrees and the lake level has come up nearly a foot in the last six days.

Yesterday afternoon and this morning Terry Coats, Wes Coats, Jay Borth, Kirk Friend and Robert Amerin from Plains, Kansas enjoyed catching limits of stripers both trips fishing with guide Roger Hill.  The group fished in the rain yesterday until thirty minutes before dark.  The sun came out and they experienced a spectacular sunset and a beautiful double rainbow that went from horizon to horizon on both sides of the boat.

Stripers feed great when the lake is cooling and on the rise.  Afternoons have been super for both striper and catfish.  Many of our anglers prefer afternoons when the temperature is much more pleasant than early in the morning.  You will be on the lake late when fishing an afternoon trip.  Make plans to stay overnight in our free guestrooms and enjoy the new game room.
