Fishing Report

Hello Fishermen, My last report was May 1st. The only change here is that the fishing is SUPER!! and we have been very busy. Lake Texoma has only received .7 inches of rain this month. The lake is one foot below normal. The water temperature is a warm 72 degrees. The striper spawn is completely over. The stripers are schooling together and are in a feeding frenzy. We are having to release numerous twenty inch+ stripers every day. The topwater fishing is very good. Some really large silversides have been landed on pencil poppers in the last two weeks. Memorial Day weekend kicks off the summer activities on Lake Texoma starting Friday. The weekend weather forecast is cloudy skies, with a slight chance of scattered thunderstorms and the lows in the 70's and the highs in the upper 80's. Perfect fishing weather for everyone. With all the conditions just right, June looks like a great month for striper fishing.
