Lake level: 613.55.  Water Temperature: 84 degrees.  Water clarity: Clear.

Generation: 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. Floodgates: Closed.

Weather: low 74 / high 93 / partly cloudy with a light southerly wind.

Fishing time: 6:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m.

Everyone must have heard how good the summer fishing is this year.  The lake is covered with boats enjoying catching the silversides.  Captain Joe Grigar took the Steve Ewing group out early Friday for a morning fishing adventure.  The three had no trouble mastering how to fish with slabs.  The four finished up landing their limit of 40 stripers in the Washita arm of the lake.

Warning!!!  Be careful!!!  The lake level is very low.  Many places you are used to boating are very shallow.  The best bet is to stay away from the bank.
