Texoma Saturday, July 19, 2001.
Lake level: 616.16. Water Temperature: 83 degrees. Water clarity: Clear. Generation: 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. Floodgates: Closed. Weather: low 74 / high 93 / sunny with a light south wind. Fishing time: 5:30 a.m. till 10:00 a.m. The summer heat is no reason to keep you off the water. Always get an early start, use sunscreen and drink plenty of water before you get thirsty and enjoy a great day of striper fishing. You should be able to catch a limit before it gets too hot. Captain Joe Grigar left the
dock with the Mitch Williams party of five just before daylight.
All of the rods had ounce and a half chartreuse and white slabs tied on.
The action started about fifteen minutes later just off TI point.
With four and five fish on at a time, the group had boated forty fish before
