Striper Guide Service Fishing Report |
| Dateline: Lake
Texoma Sunday, May 27, 2001.
Lake level: 619.18. Water Temperature: 71 degrees. Water clarity: Stained/Clear. Generating one generator 4pm to 7pm, both generators 7pm to 10 pm. Floodgates open. Weather: low 66 / high 88 / partly cloudy. Fishing time: Sunday, 6:00 a.m. till 12:30 p.m. The lake is just over two feet high and has a lot of water coming down both rivers. The Corps Of Engineers opened
the floodgates Friday to prevent flooding over the Memorial Day holidays.
The only problem with this is that the majority of the large stripers have
moved to the dam area and most of the shad stocked in the last month were
put in at the dam. Hopefully, both the stripers and shad don’t go
through the floodgates. The next few weeks will be great for catching the hard fighting silversides. Tinker’s Striper Guide Service,
