Lake level: 616.05. Water Temperature: 62 degrees. Water clarity: Clear. Generating both generators 7am until 10 am and 3pm until 10pm. Floodgates: Closed. Weather: low 56 / high 80, clear/light wind. Fishing time: Friday, 6:30 a.m. till 11:30 a.m. When is the best time to
striper fish? Now is the time!!! Striper fishing using live
bait cannot get better than right now. If you have ever wanted to feel
the excitement of reeling in a hard fighting striped bass come to Lake
Texoma in the spring. Shad are still very hard to find in Texoma.
Some people are bringing in shad from Lavon, Tawakoni and Lake Dallas.
We are catching about twenty gizzard shad a day in Texoma. So far,
we haven’t been able to tell a difference in fishing with shad or shiners. Report submitted by: Tinker’s
